Energy-Efficient Buildings + Sustainable Design
For
the City of Novato Public Works Department, we provided full
architectural services for the design of a new Administrative offices and
locker room facilities*. We incorporated many energy-efficient
elements into the building design. We also provided a research
report on sustainable design options as part of our services.

Green architectural features include
the use of awning sunscreens, low emission glass, “cool”
roofs, metal building and metal cladding for long lifecycle and
reduction of wood products in the building |

heating primarily the lower area of the workspaces |

panel system to be mounted atop a future three-sided equipment
